At Business Angels Europe (BAE), we stand as the European Confederation of Angel Investing, a pivotal organization representing the European Business Angels' Federations and Trade associations. Our mission is to bridge and empower the angel investing community across the continent, bringing together the most active and developed countries operating in the angel market in Europe.

Join us as our Head of Operations and play a crucial role in shaping the landscape of angel investing across Europe. You will be at the forefront of a movement dedicated to fostering a connected, supportive, and thriving ecosystem for angel investing.

Location of employment: Belgium, Brussels region
YOUR ROLE
In this position, you will:

Actively promote the growth of the angel market in Europe, raising awareness of angel investing among individuals capable of providing finance and experience to small businesses. The widening countries have our strong interest.

Manage EU-funded programms and initiatives aimed at creating a connected ecosystem for angel investing across Europe, working closely with key players in the finance and business marketplace. We have a specific focus on fostering female and diverse entrepreneurship.

Drive and lead member activities, strengthening member relations and fostering strategic partnerships throughout Europe.

Advocate for a supportive fiscal and regulatory framework, influencing policies and practices that benefit angel investing at EU- and national levels.

Collaborate with European institutions and member networks to facilitate knowledge exchange, data sharing, and deal-making.

Engage in policy discussions, providing insights and contextualizing directives for our members.
-
Report directly to the Board of Directors and President of BAE.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
-
A master's degree in business management, finance, or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of the investment landscape.
-
At least 2 years of experience in project management, with a strong preference for experience in EU-funded projects in the entrepreneurial, investment or startup ecosystem.

Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills, capable of managing complex projects and initiatives.

Decent accuracy in reporting.

The ability to work effectively under pressure, with a proactive, solution-oriented approach to challenges.

Proficiency in English, with additional European languages being a significant advantage.

Project Manager EU Projects (PT/FT)
ABOUT THE JOB
BAE is looking for a problem-solving, go-getting, dynamic and curious person with excellent organisation skills and a flair for innovation with working experience within European projects, preferably Exploitation and Dissemination Work Packages. Someone who is an emphatic team player, comfortable in monitoring implementation of activities and public speaking.

YOUR ROLE
In this position, you will:

Hold accountability for in-scope, on-schedule, on-budget and high-quality delivery of all documentation/reports of the project.

Coordinate actions to ensure the aims of the project are achieved and quality standards are met.

Efficiently manage workflows, project deliverables and partners communications.
-
Provide regular project status reporting and in-depth analysis when required.
-
Provide recommendations for project improvements and drive their implementation.
-
Coordination and integration with the experts (internal and external) on service delivery.
-
Facilitate meetings/communication with other participants of the project and Eu-officials (i.e. scheduling meetings, document decisions, identify issues and action items, etc.)

Measuring project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques. (Manage projects through KPIs)
-
Use software programs and templates to process, distribute and track all project
-
documentation.
-
Coordinate various teams/different people at the same time to maintain the quality of deliverables.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a candidate who possesses:
-
3 years experience in European contract management
-
Know how on “Dissemination and Exploitation activities” in European projects
-
At least Bachelor’s degree – a Master is a plus
-
English at a C1 level
