From the 14th to the 16th of December 2016, researchers, policy makers and practitioners will address the challenges and opportunities related to the globalisation and internationalisation of SMEs on the occasion of the 2016 IEF Conference taking place in one of the most entrepreneurial region in the world: Venice, Italy. Under the topic “The Globalisation and Internationalisation of SMEs and New Ventures”, the conference will be a focal point for those interested in brainstorming on the idea of a more diverse agenda for growth and competitiveness by analysing how international entrepreneurship and innovation impact on the wider global society of producers, consumers and citizens. The Conference will also examine the transformation of the industrial districts in the region with two study visits at the high class shoemaking district of Riviera del Brenta and the cluster of Prosecco sparkling wine in Conegliano Veneto.
